Job summary

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Director of University Advancement Marketing to join our University Advancement team. This role provides marketing communications support, developing campaigns and materials to support MSOE’s goals while maintaining the MSOE brand through project management and cross-team collaboration.

Under the Senior Director, the position supports planning, development, and execution of communications to advance alumni

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related area of study.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional communications experience is required.
• Higher education and/or nonprofit experience preferred.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Requires attention to detail, strong organizational competence, and the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an annual calendar of advancement, alumni relations, and donor communications.
• Coordinate timelines, reviews, approvals, and execution with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ensure a strong, cohesive brand identity and voice across all advancement communications.
• Lead the monthly Alumni E-newsletter from development to distribution.
• Plan, manage, and execute content for Alumni-focused social media channels (Facebook, Instagram).
• Partner with Marketing Communications to ensure alignment with brand standards and messaging priorities.
• Plan, manage and post content across Alumni Facebook and Instagram channels.
