The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking an Advancement Database Analyst I or II to support the Office of Advancement Services by developing, maintaining, and optimizing the UTSA Advancement database and related systems. This role enables fundraising, alumni engagement and strategic decision-making.

This position will be filled at either level based on qualifications and department needs and will involve collaboration with fundraising, alumni relations, and communications teams,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience on a one-for-one basis.
• Advancement Database Analyst I requires 3 years of related work experience.
• Advancement Database Analyst II requires 5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per TexasEO-GA-48.

Responsabilités

• Monitor performance, optimization, and integrity of database policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the technical lead to advise management on university databases and technologies.
• Develop, manage, test, and support enterprise database systems and applications.
• Design, create, implement, and maintain enterprise database reports, functions, and processes.
• Assist as a member of the Advancement Enterprise team to ensure system availability and support.
• Complete database projects promptly.
• Perform routine audits of enterprise databases for compliance with standards.
• Develop and manage documentation related to the university's database environment.
• Support development of analytical reports for advancement, development, and prospect research.
• Support development of advanced queries and exports for segmented communications datasets.
