Job summary

Virginia Urology Center P C is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in clinic settings and an ambulatory surgery center. You will work under the Director of Imaging and collaborate with radiologists and urology staff to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiography or radiologic technology.
• Completion of a specialized certificate program in radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification and Virginia state license.
• Able to work independently while coordinating with clinical staff.
• Excellent interpersonal communications to manage patients and families.
• Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

• Use radiologic imaging to diagnose and treat patients as order indicated.
• Explain procedures to patients in lay terms and confirm understanding.
• Prepare, position, and immobilize patients prior to conducting scans.
• Perform radiologic tests to obtain clear and correct body scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists, urologists, imaging director, and staff for efficient care.
