Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Planner for a major LNG project in Port Sulphur, LA. The role develops and maintains EWPs, PWPs, CWPs, and IWPs, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction to align with the project POC and field execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial construction, strong LNG or large-capital project experience, and proficiency with scheduling tools like Primavera P6.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
  • Minimum 3 years with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) / WorkFace Planning (WFP) and project planning or construction coordination.
  • Experience in LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, power generation, mining, or heavy industrial projects.
  • Proficiency with project planning and scheduling tools; ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, track, and maintain EWPs, PWPs, CWPs, IWPs, turnover and commissioning packages.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure design deliverables support construction sequencing and package readiness.
  • Work with procurement and materials management to verify material availability and readiness for package release.
  • Support development and maintenance of Path of Construction (POC), CWAs, system/subsystem boundaries, and package execution plans.
  • Create detailed work packages with drawings, specifications, material availability, equipment, safety, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Track package status, generate readiness dashboards and productivity metrics, and integrate with the master schedule.
  • Support commissioning and turnover planning by coordinating system completion requirements and startup planning.
