Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation is seeking an Advanced Welding Manufacturing Engineer to lead global welding process development, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement in a metal fabrication setting. You will drive productivity, quality, safety, and cost improvements using laser, TIG, MIG welding and lean methods.

The role requires 8–10 years of welding/manufacturing experience, a related bachelor's degree, and knowledge of robotic processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Welding Engineering, or related fields.
• 8-10 years of experience in welding or metal fabrication manufacturing.
• CWI, CWEng, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding and fabrication processes.
• Support and develop Laser, TIG, and MIG welding technologies.
• Lead manufacturing improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Support new product launches and process validation.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues using root cause analysis.
• Create work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve performance.
