Job summary

Thunderbird Molding seeks a skilled Welder to fabricate and weld complex components using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes on stainless and other metals. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure dimensional accuracy.

This role requires 2+ years of welding fabrication, ability to interpret weld symbols, and experience with metal fabrication machinery and tools. Onsite Tennessee location with strong safety standards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding fabrication experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with metal fabrication machinery and hand/power tools.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Detail-oriented with precision in fabricated components.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specs to plan fabrication.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes on stainless and other metals.
• Set up and operate plasma cutters, shears, and band saws to prepare parts.
• Fabricate components by laying out, fitting, and assembling parts as needed.
• Perform quality checks to ensure welds and parts meet specifications and safety standards.
