Job summary

Sentry Equipment is seeking skilled welders to join a dynamic team in Wisconsin. This role involves a wide variety of welding tasks, not an assembly line, across pressure vessels, tubing systems, and fabricated assemblies.

Welders progress through a career ladder from Welder I through Welder V, with opportunities for advanced techniques, hygiene welding, and leadership responsibilities as experience grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, use measuring devices, and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP software.
• Knowledge of design, layout, mechanical principles, and product operation.
• Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and thicknesses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Prepare weld joints, complete fit-ups, and perform finishing operations.
• Operate grinders, weld positioners, and semi-automated welding equipment.
• Work on pressure vessels, tubing systems, and welded assemblies.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and PPE.
• Document work, maintain tools, and keep work areas organized.
