Bass Pro Shops in Flippin, AR (White River Marine Plant) seeks an Advanced Welder to join our team. You will weld, cut and braze metal components using hand welding equipment, ensuring precise workmanship and adherence to specifications.

The role includes planning, fabricating, inspecting work, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, welding certification, and at least 1 year of welding experience (or 6 months as an Entry

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; welding certification from a technical college or trade school.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience at a similar facility preferred; 6 months as Entry Welder at current site.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or in-company training program is required.
• Thorough understanding of welding machines and tools; ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings.
• Basic math understanding related to welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan work orders and gather required tools and materials according to job instructions.
• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
• Monitor welding, burning, and fitting to prevent overheating, warping, or splatter.
• Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area.
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or materials are found; perform other duties as assigned.

## Advanced WelderApply: Flippin, AR (White River Marine Plant): Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 31, 2026 (30+ days left to apply): R268112***POSITION SUMMARY:***The Advanced Welder welds, cuts, and brazes metal pieces and products by using pneumatic grinding and hand welding equipment.***ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**** Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.* Repairs and fabricates various items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.* Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, splatter, or shrinkage.* Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.* Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.* Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.* ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED***EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:**** Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent* Certificate(s) or License(s): Welding certification from Technical College or Trade School* Years of experience: 1 year welding experience at similar facility preferred.
