Job summary

Sunco Lighting seeks an experienced Advanced Video Editor to join our Marketing team and support growth of our video content pipeline. You will edit for ads, social, tutorials, product content, and brand storytelling, collaborating with content managers, writers, designers, and videographers while upholding brand standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, experience with 2D motion graphics, sound design, and tailoring content for social

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in film production, media, design, or related field.
• Proven professional experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio for digital channels, especially ads and performance marketing content.
• Experience editing content from product footage, lifestyle shoots, UGC, screen recordings, and professionally produced footage.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro and strong proficiency in After Effects.
• Experience with 2D motion graphics and animation.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition, transitions, and motion design.
• Experience tailoring content for social media, ecommerce, advertising, and marketplace platforms, especially short-form formats.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with content managers, writers, designers, and videographers to develop video concepts, edit plans, and storyboards.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for ads, promotions, tutorials, product content, and brand storytelling.
• Create platform-native edits for Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, and other channels, optimizing format and hooks.
• Add graphics, subtitles, 2D motion design, and animations to improve clarity and engagement.
• Perform color correction and audio cleanup, including music and dialogue balancing.
• Organize and maintain video assets and projects for collaboration and reuse.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with clear progress updates.
