Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Imaging Program.
• ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification within 2 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced non-invasive imaging procedures for Vascular Laboratories.
• Performs proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling.
• Coordinates and prioritizes patient scheduling to ensure timely procedures.
• Obtains patient information prior to testing and answers questions with courtesy.
• Notifies medical staff of significant abnormal findings.
• Documents procedures in the patient chart and informs the physician.
• Calculates vascular measurements to aid interpretation.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and labs.
• Completes accurate EPIC documentation for billing.
• Participates in education and training to maintain knowledge.
• Provides preliminary reports and reviews with physicians.
• Follows vascular protocols and policies.
• Participates in training of ultrasound techniques.
