Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform a broad range of ultrasound imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction and teamwork with hospital staff while maintaining equipment and sterile standards.

Ideal candidates will hold ARDMS RDMS certification (Abdomen or OB), 1 year post-graduation experience, and BLS/CPR. A valid driver license and ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification, ideally in Ab or OB.
• Valid driver license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all health requirements for hospital employment (drug screen, background check).
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients.
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues.
• Use necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
