Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking an Assembler Advanced for the 3rd shift in Reading, PA. The role involves manual assembly of dry freight body components, using hand and power tools to mount and connect mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities include pulling parts from inventory, cutting materials with circular and band saws, and installing plywood and e-track with screw and rivet guns.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manually pull all parts from inventory based on the job order
• Assemble parts to form the Dry Freight body sides as per the job order
• Assemble, install, or remove body parts
• Cut plywood with circular saw for interior wall installation
• Cut e-track with band saw for interior wall installation
• Install plywood and e-track using screw gun and rivet gun
• Uncoil roofing material, measure and cut to size, and install on top of truck body
• Mount and connect mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment
• Work on overhead catwalk
