Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Trimmer A to perform climbing and pruning tasks with emphasis on safety and precision. You will support the crew with pruning, removal, and equipment operation, including bucket trucks and chippers, while following strict safety rules.

The role requires 3+ years of field experience, a valid CDL, the ability to lift over 50 lbs, and willingness to travel. English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience in vegetation management or tree trimming.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more during typical duties.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to work extended hours and overtime when needed.
• Reading and communicating in English; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks with precision.
• Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safety-conscious work environment.
• Assist in training less experienced crew members and operators.
• Work around energized lines with appropriate clearances and precautions.
• Participate in storm restoration efforts when required.
