Job summary

UEC in Dayton, Ohio offers a part-time, on-call internship where you will participate in mentor-guided research with Air Force mentors and contribute to projects in layered sensing, AI, aerospace and sensor technologies.

The internship runs May–August 2027, with a cap of 1,000 hours per year and hourly compensation based on academic standing and prior experience. U.S. citizenship and age 18+ may be required for the federal contract.

• Acceptance into an undergraduate or graduate degree program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic performance is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship and minimum age of 18 may be required due to federal government research contract requirements.

Your Role

Compensation & Benefits
