Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an ATO Sourcing Strategy Leader to develop and influence strategy across buying and delivery teams. Based in Evendale, Ohio, you will drive cross-functional initiatives to reduce waste, optimize part definitions in R&D, and enable smoother production transitions.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, programs, finance, and compliance to deliver measurable improvements while applying Flight Deck Lean principles to policy and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience optimizing part and material definitions at the R&D stage to improve source ability.

Responsibilities

• R&D source ability enablement: optimize part and material definitions at the R&D stage to improve source ability and simplify downstream buying and delivery execution.
• Strategy development & influence: develop and influence sourcing strategy across ATO buying and delivery teams; shape priorities, resource focus, and ways of working.
• Cross-functional initiative leadership: drive horizontal initiatives across the Edison Works sourcing organization to eliminate waste and improve efficiency, coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Policy & process improvement: influence policy formulation and support development of standards and processes that improve sourcing outcomes and execution discipline.
• Decision support & stakeholder alignment: regularly advise functional and business leaders; communicate difficult concepts clearly and guide stakeholders toward actionable decisions.
• Execution rigor & performance impact: improve the team’s ability to achieve objectives related to service, quality, and timeliness through structured problem solving and measurable improvements.
• Program / project leadership: lead functional projects or workstreams (often with minimal resources) while maintaining accountability, stakeholder alignment, and on-time execution.
