Job summary

Dance Precisions, Inc. in Anaheim Hills, CA is seeking an Intermediate/Advanced Tap Teacher.

The role delivers technically grounded tap classes for our Academy and leads choreography for our Company teams, with weekly duties spanning rehearsals, performances, and competitions. The ideal candidate has strong tap teaching experience, deep rhythmic and Broadway tap knowledge, and a track record in showpiece and competition settings.

Qualifications

• Strong tap teaching experience in intermediate and advanced classes.
• Deep grounding in rhythm tap and Broadway tap, fluent across vocabulary and tempos.
• Choreographic experience for both showcase and competition contexts.
• Availability weekday afternoons/evenings and select Saturdays through recital/season.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach with technique at the core for intermediate and advanced tap classes.
• Choreograph original pieces for Academy and Company performances.
• Provide detailed, corrective feedback on sound, technique, and musicality.
• Be punctual and prepared, arrange substitutes when needed, and coordinate with staff.
• Communicate progress, expectations, rehearsals, and logistics with families and team.
