As an Advanced Systems Engineer – Fire Systems and AI at Honeywell, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in designing and developing safety-critical systems for commercial fire alarm products. You will support engineering processes, technology, and best practices, adopting AI agents and other tools to accelerate product development.
You will report directly to our Global Fire Chief Architect and work from our Atlanta, Georgia, or Northford, Connecticut locations (based on preference) on a hybrid schedule.
This role involves driving the architecture and systems engineering of global safety-critical (SIL2) technologies such as fire alarm control panels, audio-video notification devices, smoke/gas/heat detectors, and public voice announcement systems. Technologies also include wireless mesh networking and AI/ML edge innovation.
