Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, and support of IMU systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, validate performance, and support on-site manufacturing growth on a hybrid schedule.
Reporting to the IMU Senior Engineering Manager, you will mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and stay current with IMU technology.
As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) systems for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and providing technical expertise in the field of Inertial Measurement. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of our technological capabilities and the success of our business and our customers.
You will report directly to our IMU Senior Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Minneapolis, Minnesota location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and improvement of IMU systems, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, design solutions, validate system performance, and support on-site manufacturing growth. Your expertise will be crucial in the development of new products and the support of existing product lines including, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
