Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses.

We're seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing the next generation of future torpedo products. In this role, you'll help define system architectures, evaluate complex systems, and support the full systems development lifecycle while working alongside highly skilled engineering professionals.

What You’ll Do

As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses while supporting the development of secure, high-quality engineering solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses
  • Developing system security documentation
  • Providing system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support
  • Developing and evaluating systems, networks, and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications
  • Supporting the generation of technical engineering products throughout the system development lifecycle
  • Influencing future products by contributing to engineering frameworks used across multiple products and systems

Working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, you'll capture both the problem domain and concept solution domain for future torpedo products using advanced digital engineering methods.

This includes leveraging modern Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as:

  • NoMagic
  • MagicDraw
  • Cameo System Modeler

to model interactions between systems, stakeholders, conceptual architectures, design validation, and production methods.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience

OR

  • Master's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Experience

We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:

  • Cameo System Modeler (NoMagic/MagicDraw/Cameo)
  • Design, development, and testing of underwater vehicle systems
