Job summary

Mercy seeks an Advanced Sonographer to operate imaging equipment and ultrasound systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. Candidates should have a Sonography program degree, ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials or equivalent registries, and BLS. Arkansas scope applies as required by state practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications and 3 applicable advanced registries/certifications, or 2 registries with 5 years of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team when direct leadership is unavailable.
• Serve as an expert resource for imaging protocols and procedures.
• Assist in training and onboarding of staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
