Advanced Software Engineer - Avionics Platform

REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)—POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Advanced Software Engineer - Avionics Platform

Be part of a systems team that integrates and tests highly complex platform functions. You will be instrumental in helping the team supporting Next Generation Avionics. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing Platform systems including avionics I/O interfaces, Safety BIT and monitors, and more.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years safety critical avionics software development/testing experience
• Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages
• Experience developing Object-oriented Software
• Experience with DOORS
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done
• Good positive interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with remote team members

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with DOORS NG
• Experience developing platform level robustness. functional and safety verification tests
