DCS is seeking an Advanced Software Developer to support Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in Patuxent River, MD.

Hiring for this full-time onsite role is contingent on the successful award of the contract. Offer and start date are subject to change based on the final award decision.

Essential Job Functions

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and to develop specifications and performance requirements.
• May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Required Skills

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
• A MS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Science, from an nationally or regionally accredited institution plus a minimum 7 years of required experience, at least 5 of those years must be specific to DoD systems.
• Top Secret Clearance or Top Secret Eligible.

Pay Range and Benefits

There are a variety of factors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

Salary Range: $90,220 - $210,522
