Job summary

ITW is seeking an SMT Machine/Equipment Operator to set up and run SMT equipment for PCB assembly. Responsibilities include operating Screen Printing, Pick and Place, Reflow, AOI, Wash, and X-ray systems, plus basic troubleshooting and process control.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2+ years SMT experience with MYDATA DX-series, and knowledge of TPSys. Cross-training and adherence to ESD, safety, and quality policies are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, components, and assembly techniques.
• Proven ability to set up and operate SMT equipment including Screen Printing, Pick and Place, Reflow, AOI, Wash, and X-ray.
• Minimum of two years SMT experience with MYDATA equipment (MY and DX series).
• Proven ability to handle, set-up, and teardown feeders and magazines.
• Proficient in board inspection and detecting process indicators/defects.
• Ability to perform basic rework.

Responsibilities

• Assemble circuit boards per drawings, BOM, docs, and work instructions to IPC-A-610 Class 2.
• Inspect boards to ensure IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
• Use computers, hand tools, measuring devices for PCB assembly.
• Be fluent in all SMT assembly positions and processes.
• Execute duties in a repetitive, fast-paced, and accurate manner.
• Communicate effectively with teammates in a team environment.
• Prioritize workload to meet daily/weekly production goals.
• Keep assigned area organized and clean.
• Follow policies on ESD, quality, and safety.
