Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Electronics Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineer - Advanced Packaging in El Segundo, CA. This role focuses on packaging, assembly, and testing, and requires related procurement standards, control boards, and program management for space applications.

You will work with PM&P and cross-functional teams, contributing to design reviews and manufacturing readiness. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits, including relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field.
• At least eight years of related engineering or scientific experience.
• PMP standards for advanced semiconductor packaging expertise.
• Experience in PM&P program management functions including control boards, design reviews, and manufacturing readiness.
• Excellent record of customer communication.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally ~25%.
• Ability to obtain TS/SSBI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Jira for project management.

Responsibilities

• Support PM&P program management functions: control boards, design reviews, manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Provide technical consultation on advanced semiconductor packaging for space and missile applications.
• Lead cross-organizational teams and interface with department.
• Collaborate with suppliers to create guidance and requirements for packaging and qualification.
• Represent the organization at technical meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Mentor staff and model best practices.
