Job summary

HireNow Staffing is recruiting an Advanced Semiconductor Equipment Reliability & Process Maintenance Specialist for a permanent night shift in Santa Rosa, California. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment while collaborating with process and equipment engineers to maximize uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical production systems.
  • Troubleshoot high-vacuum equipment, precision manufacturing systems, RF technologies, and automated process tools.
  • Partner with Process Engineering and Equipment Engineering teams to maximize equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support production and research activities through rapid equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers to obtain replacement components and schedule technical service support.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and legacy equipment retirement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures, repair documentation, and technical work instructions.
  • Participate in equipment improvement projects that enhance reliability, automation, and manufacturing performance.
  • Maintain safe work practices while supporting high-volume semiconductor fabrication operations.

This permanent night shift opportunity is designed for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in highly technical manufacturing environments supporting advanced semiconductor fabrication equipment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining production uptime by troubleshooting, repairing, optimizing, and improving sophisticated electro-mechanical manufacturing systems. Working alongside equipment engineers, process engineers, production personnel, and external vendors, this individual will help ensure manufacturing reliability while supporting both production operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience with high-vacuum systems, deposition equipment, etching technologies, or RF power systems.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment, automation systems, and precision manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience working across electrical, mechanical, software, and materials science disciplines.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating continued technical growth and increasing maintenance responsibilities.

  • Compensation: $67,030–$111,720 annually, based on experience, plus eligibility for a Results Bonus Program.
