Owens Corning is seeking a Glass Scientist to support safe, stable manufacturing by applying glass science to materials, formulations, and process improvements. You will partner with Operations, melting, controls, sourcing, vendors, and product teams to solve technical problems and qualify new materials, while strengthening supply and quality and ensuring health compliance.

The Glass Scientist is responsible for supporting safe, stable, and cost-effective manufacturing operations by applying glass science expertise to glass-making materials, formulations, and process improvement. This role partners closely with Operations, melting, controls, sourcing, vendors, and product teams to solve technical problems, qualify new glass-making materials, strengthen supply and quality performance and ensure environmental and product health compliance.
Reports to : Program Leader- Glass Science Operations
Span of Control : Individual Contributor
Productivity & Stable Operations (90%)
Glass Science (10%)
Note: Candidates will need to be on-call for support of our manufacturing facilities.
