Job summary

TMC HealthCare in Southern Arizona seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations in hospital settings.

The role requires an RRT, Arizona license, BLS, and at least one year of experience; ACLS/PALS are preferred for TMCH facilities. You will work under the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Department Manager, and contribute to education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program.
• One (1) year of experience delivering advanced respiratory care.
• RRT credential, AZ license, and BLS required; ACLS/PALS are required for TMCH facilities; NPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage respiratory care per physician orders and department policy.
• Administer inhaled medications and monitor patient response.
• Perform arterial blood gas puncture/analysis and monitor EtCO2 in patients of all ages.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and respond to airway emergencies.
