Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, Florida seeks a Part Time Respiratory Therapist to provide airway management, inhaled therapies, and ventilator support in a critical care setting. You will document procedures, respond to Code Blues, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of critical care experience.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Active NBRC Credentialed RRT and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Shift: Part Time; Performs airway maintenance (including intubation) and tracheostomy care per facility needs.
• Delivers inhaled medications and performs bronchial hygiene therapy and lung expansion therapy.
• Documents and charges procedures accurately; responds to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Assesses patient needs and develops a care plan with the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitors and interprets diagnostic data; communicates with team and EMR systems.
