Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a software engineer to join its Advanced Research team to build and maintain cloud services and integrate new capabilities with the Falcon platform. You will collaborate with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization experts in a distributed, remote-first environment.

The role emphasizes working with Kafka, Flink, and other technologies, plus experience with cloud APIs, CI/CD, and AI-enabled workflows. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency required to access resources.
• Computer science degree or commensurate experience.
• Programming in at least one language; Java/Scala, Go, or Python preferred.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading.
• Experience building and scaling services in production.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Experience with major cloud provider APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Effective cross-functional communication across teams.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Flink, Redis, ElasticSearch and Cassandra and LLMs.
• Develop, maintain, and scale distributed cloud services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate capabilities into the Falcon platform.
