Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays
About the Role
Overlake Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center is seeking a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing private rheumatology practice and state-of-the-art infusion center.
As we expand to multiple locations, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced, collaborative medical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in an innovative outpatient setting.
After completing training, this position includes 4 days in clinic and 1 day of Telehealth per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Evaluate, interpret, and manage patient care under physician supervision.
- Develop, adjust, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations.
- Educate patients about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and procedures.
- Conduct infusion suite follow-up visits, providing patient education and reassurance.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, billing documentation, and other required records.
Qualifications
Required
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Ability to obtain Washington State licensure
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Preferred
- Rheumatology or specialty practice experience
- Primary Care experience is also welcome
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent computer and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable seeing a minimum of 21 patients per day, with a goal of 24 patients daily
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and OSHA compliance requirements
