Job summary

Jacintoport International is seeking a refrigeration technician to monitor, maintain, and repair all refrigeration units and Gen-Sets to ensure peak performance and safety.

The starting rate is $25 per hour with long-term employment and opportunities for growth. The role requires reading schematics, soldering, and using meters; benefits start from day one and include health, retirement, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years repairing and maintaining refrigerated containers or industrial refrigeration.
• Current Refrigeration Certification, or 3 years experience with reefer systems if no certification.
• Ability to solder with oxygen and acetylene torch.
• Ability to use a multimeter and megometer.
• Ability to replace compressors, motors, and control panels on Gen-Sets and reefer equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot relays, control boards, fuel systems, and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units/containers and Gen-Sets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in reefer container refrigeration systems.
• Monitor and record temperatures for reefer loads.
• Replace condenser coils, copper tubing and other components.
• Maintain records of repairs and malfunctions in handheld devices.
• Follow safety guidelines and FMCSA/IICL standards.
