Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of rail or transit signaling experience with installation, maintenance and repair.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising a team and coordinating work.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, repair, and install wayside control equipment for automatic train operation and block signal systems.
• Plan, procure, schedule and expedite materials and equipment for area projects.
• Document and maintain records of equipment usage, breakdowns, and maintenance.
• Perform signal equipment tests to AREMA, FRA and DOT standards.
• Drive to work sites and assist at emergencies or events as needed.
• Oversee a workforce, ensuring safety, policy compliance, and professional conduct.
• Coordinate with diverse teams and respond professionally to inquiries.
• Adapt to shifts and locations as assigned.
