Mercy is seeking an Advanced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging standards. You will maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS. Depending on the state, licensure may be required. One year of experience or a Bachelor degree graduate is acceptable.

The Advanced Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Position Details:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
