Job summary
The Toro Company in Bloomington, Minnesota, invites engineering students to participate in the 2027 Summer Internship Program from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start May 17 and stay for the full duration of the program.
Interns will collaborate with Engineering, Quality & Manufacturing teams to develop product design and manufacturing quality requirements, participate in NPD, and analyze quality data to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in an accredited 4-year engineering program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related degree area.
- Interns must be enrolled in an educational program during the internship duration.
- Junior status with graduation date no sooner than December 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development and deployment of new product advanced quality plans, processes, and systems.
- Assist in streamlining APQP processes including PPAP management and CAPA tracking.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to develop quality requirements.
- Engage in the New Product Development process.
- Collect, analyze and report quality data to support decision-making.
