Job description

As an Advanced Project Manager, you will join our America’s Engineer Solutions team. You will manage projects within the ESS organization, implementing design changes and providing detailed engineering support for operating plants. The Advanced PM will be responsible for all project management processes on high-complexity, high-revenue projects. Example project disciplines include Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, Thermo/hydraulic, piping), Field Services, Software, and Process Improvement.

You will report to the Manager of Projects. While this position is remote, it will be focused on our Norwell, MA facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete all aspects of the planning process, including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
2. Follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work based on the project plan.
3. Manage all aspects of the project, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners.
4. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements and subsequent changes to teams, following an integrated change management process.
5. Coordinate project communications, ensuring the team, customer, and all partners are kept informed of status. Maintain project databases and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation.
6. Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience.
2. Bachelor’s degree required in disciplines such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical fields. An advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
3. 5+ years of experience leading teams.
