Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II in Carlsbad, NM to oversee Earned Value data, maintain lifecycle estimates, and serve as a Primavera administrator. The role supports DOE/NNSA and other national labs, requiring extensive cost and schedule control expertise and strong stakeholder communication.

The position is full-time, on site, with advanced Primavera and Cobra cost management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical science, engineering, technical discipline, or related field with 15 years of project controls experience; or a master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
• US citizenship is required for government contract work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain, and report Earned Value data for Carlsbad Field Office participants.
• Assist with development and maintenance of the Federal Site Life Cycle Estimate.
• Serve as local backup Primavera Administrator and maintain critical Primavera P6 functions.
• Use Primavera P6 and Cobra to support project controls activities for multiple laboratories.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance data to keep programs on schedule and within budget.
