Job summary

MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in construction chemicals and building materials, is hiring an Advanced Process Operator to safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and support production teams.

The role requires at least three years of manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs (100 lbs with assistance). Base pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Overtime and shift flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to prepare, blend, process and package products.
• Verify materials are accurately measured and added in the correct sequence.
• Monitor batching systems, controls and gauges; address operating issues.
• Coordinate workflow and communicate production and Quality Control instructions.
• Train and provide day-to-day guidance to Process Operators as directed.
• Maintain accurate production records and report safety or quality concerns.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist maintenance with repairs and adjustments.
• Adhere to MAPEI’s BMS, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants and specialty products used in flooring, tile and concrete restoration. As an Advanced Process Operator, you will safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to prepare, blend and package products. In this experienced operator role, you will also help coordinate production activities, support other operators and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to ensure production, quality and safety requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment used to prepare, blend, process and package products.
• Verify materials are accurately measured and added in the correct sequence.
• Monitor batching systems, controls and gauges; identify and address operating issues.
• Coordinate workflow and communicate production and Quality Control instructions.
• Train and provide day-to-day guidance to Process Operators as directed.
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report safety or quality concerns.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist maintenance with repairs and adjustments.
• Adhere to MAPEI’s BMS, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Specific Details:

• Base hourly pay rate between$22.00 and $25.00 p/hr, based on experience.
• Additional premium shift differential: $1.00 p/hr for 2nd shift and $2.00 p/hr for 3rd shift, if applicable.

• Minimum of three or more years manufacturing/process experience
• Forklift certification is a plus.
