Job summary

MAPEI Inc. is seeking an Advanced Process Operator to safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to prepare, blend and package products at Swedesboro, NJ.

The role includes coordinating production activities and supporting other operators while troubleshooting issues to ensure quality, safety, and production targets. You will lift up to 100 lbs, stand for long periods, and work overtime with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
• Minimum of three or more years manufacturing/process experience.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment used to prepare, blend, process and package products.
• Verify materials are accurately measured and added in the correct sequence.
• Monitor batching systems, controls and gauges; identify and address operating issues.
• Coordinate workflow and communicate production and Quality Control instructions.
• Train and provide day-to-day guidance to Process Operators as directed.
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report safety or quality concerns.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist maintenance with repairs and adjustments.
• Adhere to MAPEI’s BMS, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
