Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking a Production Operator Lead to supervise on the manufacturing line, coordinating daily tasks with the supervisor. The role blends hands-on production work with leadership duties, emphasizing safety, quality, and team support.

You will guide operators, ensure schedules, and maintain records while participating in batchmaking, QC sample prep, and equipment monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Overtime and shift hours required.

Responsibilities

• Guide Operators to meet production schedules and ensure smooth workflow.
• Verify records for accuracy; distribute QC instructions.
• Train Operators (Levels I-IV) to production goals and procedures.
• Monitor equipment; assist with repairs and adjustments.
• Prepare batches, deliver QC samples, and palletize products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
