Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND is seeking an Advanced Process Engineer to lead and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and new technical solutions across multiple product lines. You will collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve productivity, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability in a dynamic production environment.

The role requires strong project leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and hands-on expertise with robotics and automated equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• Five years of progressive experience in heavy manufacturing processes or equivalent.
• Experience leading technical programs in complex manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of robotics, PLCs, DC torque tools, and automated process equipment.
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience and GD&T proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead process-engineering activities including project management and issue resolution.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for quality and productivity gains.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles to process design and planning.
• Design, implement, and test procedures to optimize productivity.
• Manage budgets and schedules; report on technical, cost, and schedule status.
• Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and quality to define methods, tooling, and gauging needs.
• Track process metrics and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Support Operational Excellence strategies and technical plans.
