Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MSAT PSMD team in Titusville, NJ seeks an Advanced Process Analytics Co-op to advance spectroscopy-based modeling for pharmaceutical production. You will contribute to scalable, data-driven tools that enhance process understanding and manufacturing performance.

As a PhD student, you will collaborate with process scientists and engineers, develop reusable software, and apply chemometrics and machine learning within a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD program in a technical discipline related to chemical/biomedical engineering or data science.
• Strong Python programming skills and ability to package software for multiple users.
• Experience with multivariate methods (PCA, PLS) and chemometrics is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain libraries for spectroscopy data processing, model development, validation, and deployment.
• Create workflows, user guides, and documentation to support long-term package adoption.
• Apply chemometric and machine learning methods to build predictive models for bioreactor processes.
