SOMC West Portsmouth Family Practice in West Portsmouth, OH is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join a hospital-employed Family Practice team. The clinician will cover acute care with a 3-shift schedule (Wed–Fri, 8am–8pm; three 12-hour shifts) on a 2-year contract.

OPPORTUNITY:

Hospital employed Family Practice opportunity in West Portsmouth, Ohio!

2-year contract also includes:

• Vacation:29 PTO (paid time off) days/232 hours. Additional 40 hours when producing 75%tile wRVUs
• CME/Books & Journals: 40 hours PTO and up to $5000
• Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes. No matching.
• Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $31,000 for over age 50. SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
• Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate
• Health Insurance: provider pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
• Liquidated Damages: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
• Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary

Teaching opportunities: SOMC has Medical Students, Residents, and Advanced Practitioner trainees. Staff are eligible for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
