Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and capable Advanced Practice Provider to join the Acute Neurosurgical Services (ANS) team based at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis. The ANS APP is a key member of the GCBS ANS team managing multiple patient populations including trauma, critical care, elective spine surgery, neurovascular, and tumor populations. The ANS APP collaborates with the Neurosurgeons to maintain continuity of care and facilitate progression of the patient through the complex health system. The ANS APP also assists with collaboration with other teams within the hospital setting in a multi-disciplinary fashion. The ANS APP is a vital part of the ANS team managing patients with neurosurgical conditions. This position is full-time, working approximately three 12 hour day shifts (7a-7p) per week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Educational and Experience Required
Education: Master's Degree in Nursing with National Certification as an Adult, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner or Masters from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and national certification from NCCPA or AAPA
Licensure and Certification: Requires current unlimited Indiana State license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in neurosurgery strongly preferred. More than 2 years of previous experience as an RN working within an emergency department, trauma unit, critical care, or other inpatient setting will also be considered.
