Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (NP or PA) from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Board Certification from an accredited board.
• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Florida.
• Two or more years of adult medicine experience as an NP or PA.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and patient service orientation.
• Willingness to learn/adapt to practice in a value‑based care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults with acute and chronic conditions.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information per HIPAA regulations.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other care.
• Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
• Coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, and other staff.
• Spend 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care.
