POSITION OVERVIEW: The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care primarily through our mobile clinic services in North Austin, while also providing PRN coverage at our established clinic locations. This role combines the excitement of mobile healthcare delivery with traditional clinical practice, requiring flexibility and adaptability in different care settings.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as primary care provider in mobile clinic settings throughout North Austin communities
  • Provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management services
  • Provide PRN coverage at established Harbor Health clinic locations in North Austin
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements for mobile healthcare delivery

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Current Texas state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • 2+ years of primary care experience, mobile healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with electronic health records and mobile healthcare technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying clinical environments
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Comfort with flexible scheduling and mobile healthcare delivery
