Job summary

Capital Health Plan in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - PA to join our full-time team. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop care plans, and manage chronic follow-ups using the electronic health record to address results and medication refills.

Working alongside supportive physician colleagues, you will deliver timely, high-quality care with independent practice within the team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Florida, or eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• National certification appropriate to training.
• Experience using an electronic health record for communications, results, refills and documentation.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, organization, and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently within supervision/ collaborate with physicians and care team.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of three 11-hour shifts per week, totaling six shifts every two-week pay period.

As our Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - PA, you'll evaluate and treat patients, develop care plans, manage chronic condition follow-ups, and address clinical questions, test results, and medication refill requests through the electronic health record. Working alongside supportive physician colleagues, you'll combine independent practice with teamwork to deliver timely, high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference.

To do this, we're looking for someone who meets the following qualifications

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• National certification appropriate to training and specialty
• Comfortable using an electronic health record to manage patient and caregiver communications, results, medication refill workflows, documentation, and team-based care tasks
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, organizational ability, and commitment to patient-centered, age-friendly care
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice while collaborating effectively with supervising or collaborating physicians and the broader care team

Geriatrics, internal medicine, or urgent care experience is preferred.
