Job summary

Healthy Connections, Inc. is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to deliver high‑quality care to patients of all ages in a Russellville, AR clinic. You will join a collaborative team of physicians and behavioral health professionals, providing MAT services and comprehensive, patient‑centered care.

The role expects 25–30 patient visits per day, with a four‑day workweek and opportunities for NHSC loan repayment. Strong communication and EHR skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Two years experience as an APRN required.
• Current Arkansas APRN license and DEA registration.
• MAT experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, patient assessments, and detailed histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in primary care.
• Provide MAT services and support adherence to treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and lifestyle changes.
• Coordinate care with supervising physicians and team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives (PCMH, MU).

About the Position

As a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with Healthy Connections, you will deliver integrated, high-quality care to patients of all ages. This role is ideal for a provider who values teamwork, evidence-based medicine, and a holistic approach to health — including support for patients receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

You will work closely with a collaborative team of physicians, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure patients receive comprehensive, judgment-free care.

In this particular role, we are looking for an APRN with experience, willing to see 25-30 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, patient assessments, and detailed medical, family, and social histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in a primary care setting.
• Provide patient-centered Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services and support adherence to treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
• Coordinate care with supervising physicians, specialists, and other team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU) goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Two years experience as an APRN required.
• Current Arkansas APRN license and DEA registration.
• Experience providing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (American Heart or Red Cross)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, community-based healthcare.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
