Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care program. The successful candidate will deliver patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements include graduate NP/PA from an approved program, West Virginia license with limited prescriptive privileges, and 2–3 years of ER/urgent care experience. BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program.
• Holds a current license in the State of West Virginia.
• Attains and maintains limited prescriptive privileges according to the West Virginia Code.
• Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience practicing as a registered professional nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant required.
• Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.
