Job summary

WellSpan Health in Gettysburg, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. The position will float between Gettysburg and Hanover sites, providing walk-in care to patients of all ages across our community.

You will work 3-13 hour shifts per week, 7 days a week, 8 AM–8 PM, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for personal and professional growth within a supportive medical community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's degree Physician Assistant required.
• Master's degree Physician Assistant preferred.
• 1 year of work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM.
• Float between Gettysburg and Hanover Urgent Care Sites.
• Provide healthcare for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year Required

Licenses

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses And Training

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
