Aviva Health in Oregon seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Practice Provider Residency. This outpatient primary care clinic offers mentorship, structured learning, and exposure to diverse patient populations.

You will work with a qualified healthcare provider team to deepen clinical competency and contribute to community health initiatives and social determinants of health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Oregon state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license is required.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider Residency offers new Nurse Practitioner and Physician Associate graduates the opportunity to gain critical job experience in an out-patient primary health care clinic and rich work environment while deepening learning through collaboration with our highly qualified healthcare provider team.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• DEA license

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to perform the following physical requirements with or without an accommodation:

• In-person work during normal clinic hours
• Remain in a stationary position frequently during the day while performing clinical and administrative duties
• Move or traverse frequently during the day throughout clinic to perform clinical and administrative duties
• Operate equipment frequently during the day using a computer, clinical and lab equipment
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately so others will understand; ability to interact with patients and staff clearly
• Able to move or transport up to 25 pounds while using equipment and providing patient care.
• Work indoors in heat-controlled environment 100% of the day
• OSHA Exposure Category – Category #1: Possible job-related exposure to blood and/or body fluids. Requires the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
